I am always watching my carbs....so I came up with this recipe so I could eat MOST of the things I love without the added carbs of the bread!! Enjoy!! Amy
PHILLY CHEESE STEAK ROLLS
4 large servings
Prep time: 10 mins
Bake time: 40 mins
1 lb thin cut top round steak (there were 3 in my pack)
1 bell pepper, sliced thinly
½ a large onion, sliced thinly
Approx 3 oz cheese cut into sticks (I used colby jack)
Salt and pepper to taste
olive oil to drizzle
Preheat oven to 350° F. Lay out thin steak, salt and pepper lightly, layer bell pepper, onion and cheese on center of steak. Roll up tightly and place in lightly oiled baking pan with seam side down. Drizzle with olive oil and lightly salt and pepper the top of rolls. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
